Gynaecology and neonatal equipment
Neonatal equipment holds a very small patient inside a very narrow tolerance. A warmer two degrees out or a phototherapy unit at half its rated irradiance is not a minor fault. We service labour rooms, SNCUs and NICUs across the district health system and private hospitals in India.

01How do you check whether a phototherapy unit still works?
With a radiometer, at the surface where the baby lies. Irradiance falls steadily with lamp hours long before any lamp fails, and a unit that looks bright can be well under the effective threshold. There is no way to judge this by eye, which is why units that appear fine are often not treating.
02Our radiant warmer skin probe reads differently from the thermometer. Which is right?
Test both against a reference. Skin probes drift and are also the most frequently damaged item on a warmer. The cable fails at the strain relief and the reading shifts before it fails outright. Probe replacement and controller recalibration are routine work and should not wait for the next scheduled visit.
03Do you service equipment in government SNCUs and CHCs?
Yes. A substantial part of our work over the last two decades has been in the district health system across Gujarat, in civil and general hospitals, community health centres and urban health centres, including maintenance carried out under the ORET programme and to National Health Mission requirements.
