Gradual loss of image quality is usually tube ageing or, on a C-arm, image intensifier degradation, and it is measurable rather than a matter of opinion. Output, kVp accuracy and timer are checked against reference instruments. Grain often accompanies rising dose, which is why this is worth measuring rather than adjusting around.

Cable breaks, connector faults and housing damage are repairable. Crystal delamination in the array is generally not, and a probe with dropout across elements needs replacement. We assess the probe before quoting so you are not paying for a repair that will not restore the image.

We carry out the equipment side (output and kVp accuracy, timer, beam alignment, collimation and the associated records) and we advise on shielding and layout during installation. Licensing and regulatory submissions are the institution`s responsibility, and we provide the equipment data those submissions need.

We handle installation support, chiller and cooling, power and environment, mechanical and console faults, and preventive routines. Tube and detector replacement runs through the manufacturer channel, and we coordinate it rather than pretending otherwise.
